On the October 7, 2023  in High St, Co Offaly a group of enthusiastic individuals gathered to embark on an exciting journey into the world of hand weaving.

Whether participants were beginners or seasoned weavers, this workshop provided them with a supportive and inclusive environment to expand their weaving skills.

This workshop, designed for both beginners and those with prior experience, provided the perfect platform to explore the art of weaving using a wooden frame. The focal point of this workshop was the wooden frame loom, an essential tool for hand weaving. Using this traditional loom, participants were able to experiment with various textures, colors, and designs, breathing life into their artistic visions.
